SUMMITTEK pledges to maintain our world-class performance standard. This means providing the best value to our customers over the long term. We continue to invest in technology and equipments to maintain our competitive position.

Our manufacturing plant features a state-of-the-art chrome line imported from Germany. Using this plating line, we can custom-make our mould tube to meet customer specifications for various applications.

Copper Mould plates are usually chromium- or nickel-coated, or variously coated with combinations of both metals. The most appropriate solutions in this case are closely linked to each customer's specific requirements and operational conditions. Please refer to the following table for the details of the properties of surface coatings:

Coating

Hardness
(HV)

Advantages

Disadvantages

Cr

>600

High Hardness
Good chemical stability

Hardness falls quickly when temperature increases, cohesion strength between coating and mould plate is low and the Cr coating is easy to peel

Ni

180~250

Good chemical stability
Good wear-resistance

Low Hardness, Low wear-resistance under high tempeture

Ni-Fe

320~420

High Hardness, High wear-resistance

Low thermal stability, low elongation, easy to form cracks under high temperture

Ni-Co

220~320

High hardness, high wear-resistance;Good thermal stability;low stress,anti-thermal cracks under high temperature

Low anti-hot tearing

Co-Ni

220

Good chemical stability espeically thermal stablity;high anti-corrossion and anti-wearance

Easy to form cracks at meniscus , Cobalt is costly
